Universal Life Insurance

Universal Life Insurance is a type of cash value life insurance. Under terms of the policy, the excess of premium payments above the current cost of insurance is credited to cash value of the policy.

How Universal Life Works

Universal Life Insurance lets you the customer decide the amount of premium payments. It is better described as a flexible premium adjustable life policy. As years go on, your cost of insurance will grow. When the cost of insurance is a low amount and the premium is at a high amount it will help you build your cash value of 2%. After your premium exceeds the amount of your payment the cash value you have will help you pay for the additional premium payments and your cash value keeps building up.

How it can Help your Family

It can help your family, because each year it your cash value grows and grows and the death benefit is tax-free for beneficiaries. Your loans made against the policy are also tax-free but not in all cases.
